What are some really cool make-up techniques?

I wear my eyeshadow the same everyday, and I want some cool techniques to help spice it up. Is there anything besides just putting on eyeshadow flat? I use powder eyesahdow, if that helps. What are some really cool make-up techniques?
i like to match my eyeshadow to my blouse. Lets say your wearing a green blouse. I put on a natural color on the top part of the eye, closest to the brow. Where the bone is.. Then I pick a light color green and put it right on the eyelid, then I pick a darker green color and put it on the crease of my eye with a small brush so it just goes on the crease, and make sure you blend that color to where it doesnt look too dark , you want it to look a bit natural. then with that same small brush and the dark green eye shadow make a line of dark green right on the lower eyelash is from one end of the lowerlash to the other end. Then put on dark maskara and eyeliner and it looks really nice. Just make sure you blend. You can experiment with different colors. Try to chose the eyeshadows that come with 3 or 4 shades in one...of matching color. Maybeline of Covergirl usually do.What are some really cool make-up techniques?
if ur a blonde/pale/tan try a pinky creamy color on your eyelids just enough to barely see it

then add some below your eye to pick up some contrast

this is a nice day look

for brunettes/redheads/pale/tan you can use a brown light brown color and do it the same way as the pink

for a nighttime look add some eyeliner and draw the lines out a little bit farther than ur eye to give a mysterious pretty look :) :)

if u want to add anything, try some blush to tie together colors and to match ur face and bring out ur best features

but dont forget...mascara!!!

glad to help :) :) best answers are appreciated ;)
ummm try the natural look, that kind of matches your skin tone.

wellll another way is try one color on the eye lid and then on the brow bone use a matching color and kinda of tone it and make it light to dark or dark to light.

cat eyes makes a nice thingg too
With makeup the possibilities are basically endless.

To make eyes look bigger, apply white or any light color to the inner creases of your eyes, as well as right at the brow bone (right under your eyebrow). You can also use a darker color at the outer edges, or eyeliner on the top, bottom, or both. Try extending the eyeliner a little longer than your eye.

Mix things up, try different colors.
You can line your eyelid! That is what I do!

i also use the same color everyday, and to spice mine up a bit, Flirt has some great colored mousse eyeshadows that stay on all day! They work great, and i found a color of mousse that matches my regular eyeshadow, put the mousse on first, and make sure it drys then put the powder eyeshadow on next. then i line my eyelid with black eyeliner. it looks great!!

( you can get Flirt! at Kohls, and i use silken taupe mabelline eyeshadow, with 24 kt mousse eyeshadow!)

Works great!!
