New make-up technique?

I have dark brown hair with pink tips, its scene.

I have been doing navy blue eyeliner with mascara and pink blush for awhile but its too much and the colors look off, its too dark. I like gray colors and black, im thinking about gray shadow eye..but I have no clue what else to use, like blush and lip color, how do you apply the shadow colors? what are some applicators I will need? Where can I get them for a good price? I dont want to look slutty. I want my skin to look more creamy... What can I use to do this?New make-up technique?
Maybe for your eyes you could try using dark brown eyeliner and put silver or white eye shadow/highlight. When you are applying on the high lights, put alot on the inner side of the bottom side of your eye and spread it over the whole line.

Don't make your skin too white, otherwise it will look unhealthy in a way.

The blush sound good, in match with BROWN (your hair).New make-up technique?
ok so u should keep the navy blue eyeliner but only put it on the bottom, outter part of ur eyes. the color of blush depends on ur skin tone-if ur medium skin toned - dark ditch the pink blush.

i cant really tell u wat colors eyeshadow 2 use cuz i dnt kno ur skin tone but dont use black black.its 2 much. to get affordable makeup try:

Try this look from xsparkage. She is using the Perfect Smokey Eye Palette from Bee Luscious. The colors are made to compliment each other and comes with silvers to black.

As far as getting stuff cheap grocery stores like harris teeter and pharmacys like cvs are perfect. they are cheap in price but i promise you will find anything you need there and if doesnt mean everything is crappy.

i love gray eye shadow myself. what i do when i wear is is only apply with any kind of eyeshadow brush only in the lid. then i take a very light creamy or white color and put it under my eyebrow as a highlight which lightens up your whole look/eyes. then i just take black eyeliner. i have never tried any other color with this look however i think black is what you would want to go for. however another good one would be silver if you really dont want black. I would just apply liquid liner all across the lash line (sometimes making a tail extending out for a cuter look) and a pencil liner along my water line. however i look ssooooo bad with eyeliner going all the way around unfortunately.... :( i love how it looks on others though. if you have the same issue you can just go halfway across you lash/water line.

if you want lighter eyes, than first putting on a light creamy base eyeshadow before applying anything else will make the gray not as heavy and dark. also getting a white eyeliner pencil and only subtly applying it to the inner corners of your eyes will also make your eyes look lighter.

as far as blushes go, a light pink or peach will still go fine with the eyeshadow as long as you blend it in well enough so it doesnt look unnatural. if you dont want to look to girly then just go with a tan blush. i dont have any but a friend of mine have one that is pretty much just a couple shades darker than her actual skin tone and she says it just warms up her face instead of giving her a blush. if u cant find an actual tan blush just get a foundation.

last for lips whatever normally goes with your complection should be good. or just get a nude color if you want to keep it light
Creamy skin? Maybelline has this Dream Liquid Mousse foundation for about $8-10 and so many reviews have said that is awesome. How old are you? CoverGirl ';Cheekers'; blushes are soo nice, try to find one that suits what you're going for. Or Milani blush in ';Mai Tai'; is a perfect peach blush. I think you should try a peach blush since they look so good on any anyone!! You will need a good blush brush, so get one by EcoTools, Sonia Kashuk (Target only), or any large fluffy blush (preferebly slanted) that is REALLY dense and soft! All these products can be found at a drugstore like walgreens, target, cvs, walmart, or rite aid.

And if you go for a dark smokey eye, try the L'Oreal HIP duo in Slate (I think that's what it is called. It has a sparkly gray and black in one nice compact!!)

For lips, first make sure you have a good chapstick like carmex, softlips, or vaseline. Nude lips require nearly perfect lips. Get a Revlon lipstick in ';just enough buff';. Next, look for a nude lipgloss to layer over your lips. Lipliners really aren't needed for nude lips :)

If you have a Sephora store nearby, GO THERE! The makeup artists will really help you. Their products are more expensive though.
If you want to soften things up, try either ditching the liquid all together or mixing it with pencil.

Pencil liner I recommend:

Estee Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil

** The price tage can be almost $20 depending on where you go, but its worth it. They are long, last long and residue from it won't fall under your eyes throughout the day. They come in MANY colors. EX: http://www.amazon.com/Estee-Lauder-Artis鈥?/a>

Foundation, Powder or combo mix:

MAC is the best or I like Max Factor Lasting Performance for something cheap. FYI when I use the max factor, it dries very niceless and flawlessly so I dont bother putting powder on top.

My all time fave mascara hands down:

Is the Maybelline Microfiber mascara. When using this, coat your lashes ghost white with the white cream and then promptly apply the black mascara. Do one eye at a time because you do not want the white cream to dry before applying the black mascara! This TRULY does lengthen your lashes (well it makes it look that way anyway).
