Recommendations for text on African-American make-up techniques and skin care?

I have never been very into make-up or application techniques, but i would like to develop some skills. can anyone recommend a book, products for darker skinned african-american women, and/or skin care techniques for oily skin? I know the basics...wash in the am and pm, tone or astringent, moisturize...but i am looking for recommendations of product lines or products ingredients to look for or avoid.Recommendations for text on African-American make-up techniques and skin care?

Iman has a book called Beauty of Color: The Ultimate Beauty Guide for Skin of Color, it's sold at Barnes %26amp; Noble.
you should definately try fashion fair!!!!!!!!they have all kind of products for oilu skin, dry skin and they all kind of different shades for foundation and much more.Just go to macys
I went to amazon.com to see if they had any good books - there is one user named ';divastate'; and she has created a list of books specifically geared to african-american skin.

The list has 23 books on makeup and skincare.

Each book has reviews written by readers, so I think this may be really helpful to you.
