What little extra techniques can I do to spice up missionary position love-making with my man? I mean, it's the most comfortable and the position turns me on most, but it gets a little boring? I've heard tips like stroke his back up and down, or dig your nails into his shoulders. Do any of you ladies have any turn-on/enhancing tips of things similar to those? Or guys, are there any things a woman could do which would turn you on, to do with the rest of your body etc? Thnx. What little extra techniques can I do to spice up the missionary love making position?
move, moan, see if he likes to suck ur fingers while he is thrusting, some men like to feel ur warm tongue on their fingers, talk dirty to him it turns them onWhat little extra techniques can I do to spice up the missionary love making position?
you may just need to change positions. or try on your sides, if your flexible enough bring your knees to your chest and put your feet above your head, biting/ nibbling, try using a pillow under your lower back, feet off the side of the bed and him kneeling off the bed, try it on different surfaces, couch, table or with one leg up, try wrapping your legs around him while he's on top, many many different ways you can do this.
Ask him! Other than that, just get creative. Think of movies, magazines you've read, etc. you could try switching up the place, initiating sex in a fun and creative way, wearing something new, candles, toys... the options are endless. also, don't forget that you can switch up the positioning in the middle of sex. it'll last longer, provide variety, and it might help you find something else that works for you. OH, and put a pillow under your butt. works wonders.
It might be the most comfortable for you, but are you ever thinking about what he might enjoy. Make him happier and he will treat you better. guys need variety more than women do!! Did you know that the two top reason for guys to cheat is lack of positive attention, and need for variety.
during missionary i like my back seriously clawed to the point of bleeding quite badly

Is it the size or technique and does a talented tounge make up for any of it?
Technique all the way. Tongue can make up for part of it.Is it the size or technique and does a talented tounge make up for any of it?
size matters to me kinda but it doesn't have to be HUGE! Knowing how to use what you got does just as well. I love a talented tounge but I wouldn't say it would make up for it if it was small AND you didn't know how to use it! =)Is it the size or technique and does a talented tounge make up for any of it?
technique!
it is both size and technique....it's nice if you have a talented tongue but it doesn't make up for what you lacking else where.
The size and technique certainly help and yes, ';talented'; tongue makes up for it, in my opinion.
size definitely matters, so does knowing what to do with it and how to use it, and no, a talented tongue does not make up for it.

What is the proper technique in which to roll up cabbage rolls? I cant make them like my baba use to!?
well it's easier to show than tell so bare with me
I parch my cabbage by dipping the leaf in boiling water, then I lay it on the cutting board. put some stuffing closer to one side than the other in a row, tuck up one end then roll it up.What is the proper technique in which to roll up cabbage rolls? I cant make them like my baba use to!?
http://www.bernhards.at/recipes/cabbager鈥?/a>
scroll down the page to ';have you seen the video'; and it will give you step by step instruction on how to roll cabbage leaves.
goodluckWhat is the proper technique in which to roll up cabbage rolls? I cant make them like my baba use to!?
You have to boil the cabbage first to make is pliable. Then you fol the top down then the bottom up then each sides in and stick a toothpick through it.
what the hell is a baba?
Please, if you find out will you tell me to?Please!!!!!!! I love those things.e-mail me at nor.1953@yahoo.com Please!!!!
The main points are to
1. take the leaves and cut away most of the stalk to make it thinner - so that where the stalk WAS there is only a thin bit left - almost as thin as the cabbage leaf surrounding it.
2. boil the leaves until they're a bit soft. Otherwise you can't wrap them around anything..!
After doing that it should be easier, even if they're not the same as your baba's - whoever that is!
Parboil the cabbage for a few minutes to make the leaves tender and pliable enough to roll.

What is the name of the technique which produces a large image made up of smaller images?
I saw this a lot a few years back. The best example I can think of is in the video for 'Changes', where the camera zooms out from one small image.
It reveals loads more small images, and when zoomed out enougth the images combined to give the impression of TuPac (I think it was him). What is the name of the technique which produces a large image made up of smaller images?
Photomosaic collage sometimes called a photomontage.
The words collage and montage are tradition words, they do not truly describe a modern technique that uses technology to such an extent. What is the name of the technique which produces a large image made up of smaller images?
andy warhol did a lot of this but i can't remeber what it was called.
Pixalation - not sure of spelling.
something like typography or topography ? i am dredging the crypts of my multi-storey car park of a brain.
i have no idea unfortunately
It is a form of Photomontage. There are programmes out there that will create an image of your choice out of other images if you are interested in having a go yourself.

How do i make my eyes look better with make up? like techniques? they are brown?
1. Widen eyes
To make your eyes appear farther apart, line top lashline from the midpoint of your eye to just beyond its outer edge. Continue line from the outer corner about 1/ inch into you lower lashes-this will draw attension to the outside of youe eyes
2. Create drama
Line your inner rims with a pencil eyeliner to give subtle eye makeup a darker, and more intense look(skip itif you have small eyes,or they'll look tiny). Liquid and shadow liners are not made for this area-they both dont stick to moist skin.
3. Enhance color
Wear a colored liner that complements youe eye shade to make it stand out. For light brown eyes, try olive green or khaki; and if they're dark brown, try purple.
4. Brighten eyes
Use eyeshadow and a brush to draw a thin strip of linear along top lashes. It will open up your eyes. If your eyes are smal, avoid lining lower lashes and don't use pencil or liquid liners: They're dark and heavy, so they'll lose up your eyes, making them squinty.
5. Take it off
WHen your ready to take off the makeup use premoistened eye makeup-remover pads that contzin vitamin e or aloe to erase eyeliner. They are the easiest to use to take off all liners -even the waterproof ones-and they will help moisturise the skin around your eyes so it doesn't dry out or get flaky.
Soft, smoky,'big-eyes' look :
For years, eyeliner had been banished from dressing tables beacuse of its harsh appearence. Now it's back and so on is the smoky eye. Apply a thin line from the inner to the outer corner of your upper lid.
After it dries, run a soft tip pencil of the same color as the liner over the line you have drawn. Finally, run a damp cotton bud over the line. Your smudged smoky effect! Never use a black liner, navy or dark grey would be a better bet.
Special effect with liner for smoky big eyes
Experiment with two different shades of eye liner. Run a pencil of a light grey, brownish red (according to the color of your dress) on the lower eyelashes first, especially the outer corner of the eye.

Hope i helped!!!!!How do i make my eyes look better with make up? like techniques? they are brown?
Make up is all about contouring and highlighting.
Contour - darkening
Highlight - brightening
If you have small eyes or if your eyes look tired all the time, use a white eyeliner to line near your tear duct and your lower lash line. (yes - I realise this contradicts what the answerer above wrote: ';If your eyes are smal, avoid lining lower lashes and don't use pencil or liquid liners'; - BUT!!! Colour is a very important thing, black will do the above but white will provide a different effect!)
If you don't want to use such a harsh colour (black and white) then use a more subtle and 'natural' colour such as brown or light beige (shimmer in the light colour helps as well) for a similar effect. It depends on how dramatic you want it to be.
If your eyes are light brown, then greens/browns/light oranges will look great on you. If you have really dark brown eyes - basically anything will work (oh the miracle of brown eyes : P). However, you must keep in mind skin tone as some colours work on cool skin tones whilst others don't, and vice versa for warm skin tones.
For more advice on tones: http://makeup.lovetoknow.com/Undertones
Don't forget to use bases before you apply eyeshadow - this will not only help the e/s to stay longer but also bring out a truer and more distinct colour.
Hope this helps :)

What do you think of this make-up? What is used? What's the technique, esp. for eyes?

It's incredibly easy and basic.
Just use a light, non-colored shimmer along the edge of the inner and outer part of the eyes and use a navy blue pencil line softly along the edge of the lashline.

my dress is baby blue with silver rinestones n gems.
i have brown hair(dark but not black dark).
and dark almost black eyes.
i have no idea what color liner n shadow to use??Prom make up mainly eyeshadow color and technique??
wear dark eye makeup with silver accents. i have i.d. bare escetuals dark darrrkk blue eyeshadow, and its perfect for going dark with the eyes. use that and a grey black eyeshadow, sortof cornering your lid. to make it look more even i usually lightly cover the dark eyeshadow with a shimmery light shadow(in your case silver). i did it for homecomming, really pretty!

Let me start off by saying that if you're looking for inexpensive, quality makeup, I suggest http://www.eyeslipsface.com. Nearly everything there is one dollar.
Eyeshadow:
I like getting maybelline quads. they last a long time.
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
I personally have lucious sorbet for my blue eyes.
The medium shade (top one showed on those quads) goes all over the lid.
Second one down (second darkest) compliments and goes in the crease.
The lightest goes all the way up to your brown bone.
Last but not least the darkest goes at the outer corner of your eye.
Blue eyes - browns and blues
Brown eyes - golds, bronzes, browns, purples.
Hazel Eyes - can pull off most any color
Green eyes - green (duh), browns
These are good rules for general eyeshadow, not just these quads.
wear blue or silver eye liner and make the eye lid right at the bottom silver then blue with a silver body stinker on the side of ur eye.
either silver or baby blue.
it will make your eyes stand out.
just dont wear to much !

Is there any technique to making up dance moves to a song?
like, is there a certain 'rubric' that you follow, or is it just random moves that you throw in there....please i need help!Is there any technique to making up dance moves to a song?
It helps a lot if before you start, you just sit and close your eyes and listen to the music. By doing this you will pick up beats and other things that you did not catch before. Also try to choreograph to the back round music and the dramatic beats. Is there any technique to making up dance moves to a song?
I don't think there is a ';certain'; way to make up a dance. Just remember to count the beats and make sure your dance moves fit in the counts. Also, if the song is kind of slow and sad, I wouldn't be dancing in a hip-hop kind of way. Listen to the song, and think is this rap? country? alternative? and sort of build your dance off of that. Hope this helped and have fun! :)
When I Free Style I just feel the song and listen to the beat.
Depending what kind of music you dance to as well.
Just do what you think would go well with the music.
It only matters that you like what you have done. :)

Someone help me make up a technique. like (dribble twice etc) !!!best free throw routine gets 10 points !!!!?
I would dribble three times, pick it up, dribble twice while humming Beatles ';Helter Skelter';
Then shoot it in.
Worked pretty good.
It helped me concentrate.Someone help me make up a technique. like (dribble twice etc) !!!best free throw routine gets 10 points !!!!?
its all about comfort for the individual, not a group concesus. thus, I decline to give my opinion.Someone help me make up a technique. like (dribble twice etc) !!!best free throw routine gets 10 points !!!!?
really there is no good freethrow routine you can make one up and just stick with it and it will get bettter.
there is no best free throw routine, if you start with stick with that one and you will get better, i always think it luck, but i dribble twice and double dribble twice before shooting
you have to pick a routine and stick to it...but i think that dribble three times and spin the ball back to yourself and go around the back
To get 10 points shooting free throws we must first assume that you are getting to the free throw line a minimum of 5 times on a shooting foul.
What I teach my players is to keep feet and shoulders square to the basket. If you are right handed put your right big toe right at the nail that points out the center of the court because it is center with the basket. Elbows are in. Elbow points at the toe which points at the basket. Always keep your rhythm. Three dribbles in rhythm, bend stretch, lock and leave/All this is done while keeping a rhythm. The shot is made with the legs and not just the wrist. Remain on your toes and profile your shot until it goes through the net. This takes time to develop, but once it is master you will be consistent and you can make the same shot blindfolded. I often demonstrate that. After doing that most of my players bought into it and I love for teams to foul us at the end of the game. I know we are going to make those shots. Most teams that have played us a few times don't want to foil us. But I will hold the ball and force them to..(smiles)
watch rip hamilton.
dribbling is common, its to get the ';feel'; for the ball, get a momentum going so when you shoot the ball it feels good.
Then shoot it in.
Worked pretty good.

there is no best free throw routine, if you start with stick with that one and you will get better, i always think it luck, but i dribble twice and double dribble twice before shooting
you have to pick a routine and stick to it...but i think that dribble three times and spin the ball back to yourself and go around the back
To get 10 points shooting free throws we must first assume that you are getting to the free throw line a minimum of 5 times on a shooting foul.
What make-up is good for a 14 year old. Some techniques on putting it on? (classic look)?
no makeup is perfect for a 14 year old...ur young and u have pretty skin, dont mess it up by usin make up at such a young age...besides the best natural look is goin naturally, with no make upWhat make-up is good for a 14 year old. Some techniques on putting it on? (classic look)?
i don't know what personality you have but i like to emphasize more on eyes than cheeks and lips so yeah...and im 16...
-eyeliner or mascara
-highlighter on cheeks
-lt. pink gloss
for eyes i apply eyeliner on top as close to lashes as possible then i smudge it a tiny bit to look more natural, then i put eyeliner in my bottom inner rims. OR i just put on dark but natural mascara.
-for cheeks i out on a little bit of foundation or concealer as needed then i use NARS the multiple (best product ever) to highlight my cheeks by dabbing about 4 dots then blending.
-on lips i put a little bit of foundation so that my gloss would last longer then i use NARS orgasm, Dior, Chanel or victoria's secret, (they're all very good).
This is just a basic school daytime classic look and it takes about 5 minutes.
For the evening i suggest adding a small amount of eyeshadow on top lids and maybe blush on apples of cheeks.
if you still need help, go to a sephora or a makeup counter and ask them. What make-up is good for a 14 year old. Some techniques on putting it on? (classic look)?
brown eyeshadows and brown/black or grey eyeliner with some brownish/orangish blush and some clear or subtle pink lipgloss
i recomend getting a good thickening mascara and curling ur lashes. it will bring out your eyes and make them look pretty but at the same time u will look very natural
You do not want to look like you are wearing a lot. A little blush, mascara, and great lipliner with a matching gloss. Too many girls use too much eyyeliner and look bad and hide their gorgeous eyes. You want the makeup to enhance your looks not hide them. Go to Sephora and they can do a makeover with diferent brands and help you select.
anything would look good
natural looking makeup, dont go all out, if you do a ton of sports itll clog your pores, so just a simple eyeshadow, mascara, lip color, and a little eyeliner
im 14 too !!lol emm try white eyeliner thick lashes a bit of bronzer for a glow %26amp; light or no eyeshadow.best to look natural %26lt;333
mascara eyeliner, make the eyeliner subtly smudged and sephora has some great shades of lipgloss, im 14 to and this is what i wear. if you want to go more classy use a liquid eyeliner. alos a bright red lipstick, by a matching lipliner. coat ur lips with a nice chapstick. fillin ur lips with lipliner and then lipstick. use a clear lipgloss to finish off.
at 14, the less make up the better since too much looks tacky. A little brown mascara and lipgloss is nice. No eyeliner, it will make you look like you are trying too hard.

Make-up help! Need some ideas or techniques!?
Hey guys. Alright, so i'm 14 years old.I'm in 8th grade, and next year, I want to start a new look. I want to look so different like on those TV shows, that my best friends wouldnt even be able to notice me. Here are my questions. Please answer them by putting the number infront of it.
1.Eyes-My eyes are brown. I where glasses sometimes.
2.Skin-I have tan, white skin.
3.Mouth-My teeth are crooked, and yellow. How can I fix this without whitener(mom doesnt want me too), or braces (I will need them, but I have to wait so...). I know to brush, and scrape plack, but anything else?
4. Hair color-My hair is brown, but i can use non-perminent wash out hair dye from sally's to have any color hair. What color should I pick? Any tips on how to get my hair REALLY long, REALLY quick?
5.Height-I'm very short. Is there anything I can put on the exterior bottom of my shoe, like pads, to make me taller? If I do the millions of socks things, i'll just fall out of my shoes.
Please answer as many as you can! My questions never get answers to them, so please answer. Thanks a million!- Aly
p.s- I'm not caucasion, or chinese or anything. Im american. Also, any good techniques for putting makeup on? Thanks!Make-up help! Need some ideas or techniques!?
for your eyes, use deep shades of navy and sapphire
watch what not to wear to watch Carmindy's makeup section
for long hair, buy a wig( a hair ppiece) to add on your hair.Make-up help! Need some ideas or techniques!?
1. You should wear bronzey, natural colors to bring out your eyes. Start with an eye primer, I love MAC Paint pots, and put a small amount from lash line to your brow bone. Blend this out so it doesn't look clumpy and leaves a small layer on your skin. First put a natural skin color, MAC Shroom is my favorite, from lash line to brows. Then on the inner corner put a really light color to make your eyes seem more open. Then on the lid put a medium color. In the crease put a dark brown and blend. Wear brown eye liner and mascara. For more details watch these gurus on youtube: Xsparkage, panacea81.
2. Tan and white are completely different colors. I would say use a translucent powder to even our your skin tone.
3. Use a whitening toothepaste, mouth wash, and tooth brush. Floss twice a day. Don't forget to brush your tongue.
4. I would say get extensions, which are a pain!! or just use clip in extensions.
5. Wear shoes with a little height. You can also wear a different kind of pants. I know in 17 they always show you how to look taller with clothes.
Remember, the summer before highschool is when everyone changes. your friends probably wont even recognize you.

New make-up technique?
I have dark brown hair with pink tips, its scene.
I have been doing navy blue eyeliner with mascara and pink blush for awhile but its too much and the colors look off, its too dark. I like gray colors and black, im thinking about gray shadow eye..but I have no clue what else to use, like blush and lip color, how do you apply the shadow colors? what are some applicators I will need? Where can I get them for a good price? I dont want to look slutty. I want my skin to look more creamy... What can I use to do this?New make-up technique?
Maybe for your eyes you could try using dark brown eyeliner and put silver or white eye shadow/highlight. When you are applying on the high lights, put alot on the inner side of the bottom side of your eye and spread it over the whole line.
Don't make your skin too white, otherwise it will look unhealthy in a way.
The blush sound good, in match with BROWN (your hair).New make-up technique?
ok so u should keep the navy blue eyeliner but only put it on the bottom, outter part of ur eyes. the color of blush depends on ur skin tone-if ur medium skin toned - dark ditch the pink blush.
i cant really tell u wat colors eyeshadow 2 use cuz i dnt kno ur skin tone but dont use black black.its 2 much. to get affordable makeup try:
-the dollar store has some REALLY cute makeup (like aziza) but b careful cuz some can b really old
go to www.covergirl.com to find ur right shades in lip, eye, and face makeup. Hope this helps!

Try this look from xsparkage. She is using the Perfect Smokey Eye Palette from Bee Luscious. The colors are made to compliment each other and comes with silvers to black.

As far as getting stuff cheap grocery stores like harris teeter and pharmacys like cvs are perfect. they are cheap in price but i promise you will find anything you need there and if doesnt mean everything is crappy.
i love gray eye shadow myself. what i do when i wear is is only apply with any kind of eyeshadow brush only in the lid. then i take a very light creamy or white color and put it under my eyebrow as a highlight which lightens up your whole look/eyes. then i just take black eyeliner. i have never tried any other color with this look however i think black is what you would want to go for. however another good one would be silver if you really dont want black. I would just apply liquid liner all across the lash line (sometimes making a tail extending out for a cuter look) and a pencil liner along my water line. however i look ssooooo bad with eyeliner going all the way around unfortunately.... :( i love how it looks on others though. if you have the same issue you can just go halfway across you lash/water line.
if you want lighter eyes, than first putting on a light creamy base eyeshadow before applying anything else will make the gray not as heavy and dark. also getting a white eyeliner pencil and only subtly applying it to the inner corners of your eyes will also make your eyes look lighter.
as far as blushes go, a light pink or peach will still go fine with the eyeshadow as long as you blend it in well enough so it doesnt look unnatural. if you dont want to look to girly then just go with a tan blush. i dont have any but a friend of mine have one that is pretty much just a couple shades darker than her actual skin tone and she says it just warms up her face instead of giving her a blush. if u cant find an actual tan blush just get a foundation.
last for lips whatever normally goes with your complection should be good. or just get a nude color if you want to keep it light
Creamy skin? Maybelline has this Dream Liquid Mousse foundation for about $8-10 and so many reviews have said that is awesome. How old are you? CoverGirl ';Cheekers'; blushes are soo nice, try to find one that suits what you're going for. Or Milani blush in ';Mai Tai'; is a perfect peach blush. I think you should try a peach blush since they look so good on any anyone!! You will need a good blush brush, so get one by EcoTools, Sonia Kashuk (Target only), or any large fluffy blush (preferebly slanted) that is REALLY dense and soft! All these products can be found at a drugstore like walgreens, target, cvs, walmart, or rite aid.
And if you go for a dark smokey eye, try the L'Oreal HIP duo in Slate (I think that's what it is called. It has a sparkly gray and black in one nice compact!!)
For lips, first make sure you have a good chapstick like carmex, softlips, or vaseline. Nude lips require nearly perfect lips. Get a Revlon lipstick in ';just enough buff';. Next, look for a nude lipgloss to layer over your lips. Lipliners really aren't needed for nude lips :)
If you have a Sephora store nearby, GO THERE! The makeup artists will really help you. Their products are more expensive though.
If you want to soften things up, try either ditching the liquid all together or mixing it with pencil.
Pencil liner I recommend:
Estee Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil
** The price tage can be almost $20 depending on where you go, but its worth it. They are long, last long and residue from it won't fall under your eyes throughout the day. They come in MANY colors. EX: http://www.amazon.com/Estee-Lauder-Artis鈥?/a>
Foundation, Powder or combo mix:
MAC is the best or I like Max Factor Lasting Performance for something cheap. FYI when I use the max factor, it dries very niceless and flawlessly so I dont bother putting powder on top.
http://www.amazon.com/Max-Factor-Lasting鈥?/a>
My all time fave mascara hands down:
Is the Maybelline Microfiber mascara. When using this, coat your lashes ghost white with the white cream and then promptly apply the black mascara. Do one eye at a time because you do not want the white cream to dry before applying the black mascara! This TRULY does lengthen your lashes (well it makes it look that way anyway).

Does hand speed make up for technique in boxing/kickboxing/MMA?
My MMA coach said that if a man has tremendous hand speed and ';alrgiht '; technique, the speed will make up for the fighters flaws. Is this true? he also said that if anderson silva did not have his hand speed, he would still be an amazing fighter however, a very different fighter..?Does hand speed make up for technique in boxing/kickboxing/MMA?
Not really. Hand speed and technique are sort of related. Straight punches, a hallmark of good technique, are faster than loopy punches. So a guy with good technique, or in other words a guy who's throwing straight punches, is going to be faster, nine out of ten times, than a guy who's winding up and throwing big roundhouse punches.
What makes Silva such a great fighter isn't so much his speed. He's fast, but others are faster. It's his versatility. Here's a guy who can throw a seven-hit combo that will include four punches, two knees, and a kick, all mixed up. His timing is excellent, too. But I can understand how he'd look fast next to Lutter and Franklin.Does hand speed make up for technique in boxing/kickboxing/MMA?
The truth is actually the opposite. Speed is the ultimate goal, not technique, technique is what allows you to reach higher speeds. So if you could reach a higher speed with different technique, that would be the technique for you, usually it's an absolute must that slower fighters use technique in order to compete on even keel with faster fighters.
Look at boxers like Roy Jones Jr., certainly no one argues that boxing with your hands around your waist is prefect technique but he's allowed to get away with because of ridiculously blinding speed at that weight. A boxer like Floyd Mayweather Jr. more creates an illusion of speed because his technique is always so precise, he's never been in the position Jones has where he can completely goof off and still be so much faster than his opposition.
So work on your technique, that's how you'll get faster, work everything as tight and quick as possible. I think Spider Silva's dangerousness comes more from power and accuracy than I do it comes from speed actually, he just hits people harder than human beings ever deserve to be hit, he usually breaks open his opponent's faces on the first punch he lands, it's very different from a tradition speed fighter who uses volume or like Machida uses evasiveness.
In all sports, but especially combat sports, speed kills.
I would rate punching accuracy as more important than hand speed. Great fighters have the ability to stay focused on their target even in the middle of an exchange where they are getting hit themselves. The average fighter in this situation will just punch in the general direction of his opponent's head. The great fighter will maintain focus and aim his punches to the jaw or other specific targets. This is one of the things that Anderson Silva does best.
Honestly, hand speed won't make up for bad technique. While speed is important, you should learn how to throw a punch with proper technique first. What's the use of a fast hand if you hit a guy wrong and you break your fingers?
Speed comes after technique. Proper technique teaches you how to move more effectively without wasting movement. that in itself makes you move faster that an untrained person as well teach you the proper way to generate power.
since your coach used anderson silva as an example, i'll use him too. have you ever seen silva throw wide looping punches? No. but can he still beat opponents to the punch and knock them out? yes. Why? His striking is technically sound that's why he can punch accurately, fast and strong.
your MMA coach is a real coach right? not just some guy who's a bit older than you and knows some stuff right? I mean he's credible and a real professional? Because, no serious coach i know will let his fighter go off with just ';alright'; technique and not work on the flaws.hair gallery

Whats the best Make up technique ??
To make green eyes really stand out??Whats the best Make up technique ??
Use black or brown (must be almay i-color that's made for green eyes)
You could also try a purple eyeliner and then nice eyeshadow in purple.Whats the best Make up technique ??
I have hazel eyes and to make the green show more I use black eyeliner and mascara and a light brown eyeshadow. They look beautiful like that
I have green eyes and I found that black eyeliner really makes them pop. For under the eyes it looks good applied over the lashline, as long as you don't over do it. Also, it's cool to alternate between lining the top lid and the bottom, just to change things around once in awhile. As for eyeshadow, purple/plum/eggplants work well with green eyes, because they are the opposite of green on the color spectrum. Hope that helps :]

Any eye-liner tips/techniques that you use? or any other useful make-up tips?
im not totally terrible but im for sure not the best lol. really I would just like to get eyes kinda like this: http://i8.tinypic.com/8188msl.jpg
natural looking but you can still that you have just a bit on.
I know I should experiment but I just want some tips for any kind of makeup :] or the dos and donts.Any eye-liner tips/techniques that you use? or any other useful make-up tips?
I have to balance my elbow on the counter to get a nice line of eyeliner! I also recommend: using a shadow with a liner brush rather than a liquid liner if you want a more natural look, a magnifying mirror, and natural light whenever possible to apply makeup.
In the photo, it looks like she has a very natural mascara (rather than a majorly lengthening or thickening type) and a lighter liner on the bottom than the top.
Have fun and look great!

Techniques of natural make up
i really want to no the techniques of putting make up on for school but looking completely natural, i have a bit of acne but not to much. when i apply moisturizer to my face and put concealer and foundation on my skin gets very oily and then when i don't put moisturizer on my skin is very dry and flakyTechniques of natural make up
in mornings and evenings use some anti-spot wipes or something for your acne. this can also be used to take of all foundation and stuff that you put on beforehand.
I find the best natural make-up is to completely cover your face in foundation but not very thick, then put concealer on any spots you have blending everything in. Then put some powder foundation on over that.
finally put a very small amount of black eyeliner on and mascara or use white eyeliner to make you look more awake for early school mornings.Techniques of natural make up
1. To help solve your acne problems, keep using concealer by usind your ring finger to dab it on.
2. To help solve your oil problem, keep doing what you are doing but add a translucent, oil absorbing powder.
3. Use a light colored blush on the apples of your cheeks curving up towards your eye to make an upside down comma shape..Believe me it is the most natural lokking way to do blush.
4. One to two coats of mascara (optional)
5. Nude lipgloss (optional)
6. Light pink eyshoadow but only on your lid up to the crease of your eye. (optional)
Hey girl moisturizer is great for dry skin, but I think it won't look nice when you put make up on top of it. Just use it for your body ok. Foundation is okay, then don't use anything else for your face, even rose powder ok. Just apply lipstick to your lips, whatever colour suites you and then add gloss on top of it like plain water. Then masscara for your eyelashes that's it.
Hey I hope I can help you as I used to experience similar problems but have managed to overcome them. I am an independant consultant for a company named arbonne who do a range of amazing products that help all types of skin. In particular a mineral powder which is easy to apply and is applied like powder but is foundation and creates a flawless, light and very flattering appearance.

Use a good eyelash curler - Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler , or you can try out and look around.
Use a mascara - Define a lash, Green is for lengthen and Pink is for volume.
This will open up your eyes.
I usually use a tinted moisturiser from Dove, if my skin isn't to bad.
Use a Bronzer from Rimmel and then look for a Blush color that suits you.
Which gives my face a appealing color, glowing and healthy.
Exfoliate your skin, to get rid of old skin and to produce new one, so your skin can be soft.
Sunscreen is very important to prevent lines, wrinkles and aging, almost everything really.
Make-up tips, tricks, %26amp;nd techniques plz.!?
A light foundation. try olay or covergirl. Make sure it matches your skin tone perfectly before buying it. To make your eyes stand out use a dark brown or black eyeliner, apply it thicker on the outer corners and thiner and the inner corners. Use a light shimmery highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes (try high beam from sephora). You can also use this on your cheekbones if you would like them to stand out. Brown eyes usually look good with any eyeshadow. Before applying mascara (my favorite is loreal) curl your lashes with a eyelash curler. for your cheeks use a blush a few shades darker than your foundation. And if you would like a sunkissed look use a bronzer on the places the sun would naturally hit (nose, cheeks, forehead).
I hope i helped =]
Covergirl just came out with a new mascara that supposedly brightens your eye color by 4x (as opposed to bare lashes)
It comes in different colors for different eye colors:

go to this wonderful website www.teamsugar.com once you get there search for ';eye techniques'; they have awesome video how to's.
My mom is a Mary Kay Consultant, which is a facial and make-up person.
She told me that she learned that you put the darkest color of your eye shadow near your eyebrows and keep going down, getting lighter with each color.
Hope This Worked!

Eye make-up removal products/techniques?
I really don't wear to much eye make-up, during the week especially, just usually a coat of waterproof mascara and maybe a tiny bit of eyeshadow but I never seem to remove it properly.
It looks like it's all gone before I go to bed but still end up with trace under my eyes in the morning. I usually use a cotton wool ball and a make-up remover (meant to remove waterproof mascara). Can anyone give me any tips how to get rid of it altogether? Also someone mentioned L'oreals new make-up removers are they any good?? thanksEye make-up removal products/techniques?
yes, I use l'oreal de maque if that's what you mean? I use the milk to toner one and find it works really well. Also revlon colorstay makeup remover pads are brilliant. They are oil based, which means it dissolves waterproof mascara well-I always use these when I wear waterproof. I find makeup removers that aren't oil based just don't work properly on waterproof. Just make sure you wipe the remover off with cotton wool after, otherwise you'll have greasy eyes cause of the oil! lol. Oh and clinique do an oil based remover-I think it's called take the day off-that's good too. Hope that helps! xEye make-up removal products/techniques?
I usually put a little bit of Vaseline on a cotton swab and rub it in on one at a time, but always remember to close the eye your doing first! Then, I just wash my face with a regular skin care product.
http://www.drugstore.com/qxp19118_333181鈥?/a>
this is the best stuff ive tried yet (and trust me. ive tried alot. experiment with different kinds of materials to rub it in. cottonballs just feel gross to me, so i usually just fold up a tissue and pour some of it on there, and rub my eyes in circles.
just do exactly what you are doing...except before you go to bed, take a qtip and moisten it..and swipe it under your lids...and even in the corners of your eyes to take out the nasty ';leftover'; makeup thats literally in your eye
almay works for me
just dab some on a cotton ball
then wipe it over your eye
and if you but make up on the bottom of your eye
then wipe it over the bottom too
I use Johnson's make up remover wipes (the pink ones)..
Before using it I dab a bit of water 3 times on both eye lids, to moisture and soften up the make up.. I wipe of the make up with the wipes in circular movements. Always works and always clear, even when I go overboard lol! x
you may want to try facial cleansing towelettes.
I, unlike yourself wear a ton of eye make up. I'm kinda crazy like that. I wear 3 or 4 colors of eyeshadow, eyeliner and lots and lots of mascara. At the end of the day I use a cotton round pad and Neutrogena sensitive eyes eye make up remover. After I put the eye make up remover on the pad , I put just a touch of my moisturizer on the pad also, this keeps the skin under my eyes from getting rubbed too much, and then I just rub it all off. It usually takes about 2 minutes and it's all gone. I tried Loreals eye make up remover before and I didn't think it worked as well as what I use now. My sister puts a smidge of baby oil on a cotton ball, rubs it over eyes loosens the make up and then washes with her facial soap. You might want to try that if you have any.
sensitive skin baby wipes are good
I use make up wipes or if i don't have any I use baby wipes which work just as well but are cheaper than make up wipes. Rather than rub my eyes with the wipes, I wipe outwards towards the edge of my face. I do it a few times and it usually all comes off.

Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?
Okay, so I know that when you apply eyeshadow make-up wet it looks brighter/darker depending on the color and can cover the eyelid more elegantly, but I sometimes notice that when you apply the make-up wet it also has a better chance at creasing. Why is that? Is there any way for me to apply the make-up wet, but have no crease?Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?
Using an eyeshadow base will help prevent creasing. When applying makeup wet it interacts with the natural oils of your eyelid. So when it dries up the oils make the shadows separate and thus crease. If you use a base such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC Paint Pots or Paint or NYX Jumbo eye pencils you can get a primer on the lid that controls makes a barrier between the eye shadow and your eye lid oils.
I like using MAC paint pots since they double up as a shadow for those lazy days.
If you want to learn more I suggest looking for tutorial on youtube or dropping by makeupgeek.com which is a super friendly site devoted to makeup and all it's tricks.Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?
It creases because it forms onto your skin more and settles in the cracks. To prevent this, raise your eyebrow to make your eyelid very smooth when you close your eyes, apply it, then let dry without moving. Or, you could use an eye primer which will smooth out the surface first.
thats called cheap make up.
it would help to get an eyelid primer though.

I need help with this make-up technique.?
I have read in several places that there are make-up tricks to make your forehead look smaller. Can somebody explain how to do it or give me a website that explains it step by step.
Thank You.I need help with this make-up technique.?
Use a slightly darker foundation near the hairline. Say about a centimeter. (1cm)
Rest you can use a shade lighter, that suits your skin color.
This makes forehead look smaller.
Do blend the 2 where they meet. So it looks OK.
Also, if your eyes look larger, with make up, Forehead will shrink.
You asked make-up. Otherwise, a good hair style can hide a part of the forehead. This is the best way.I need help with this make-up technique.?
use a matte bronzer. with a medium flat blush brush swipe horizontally along your hairline ( the area where your forehead and hair meet ) then swipe it vertically across your temple ( the area above the arch of your eyebrow )
just go on youtube and follow there steps GOOD LUCKZ ! ! !
Search it on you tube! Bronzer is a great trick to a lot of things

Whats the best technique and make up for the smokey eyed look?
Traditional Smokey Eye:
Line your top eyelid with brown or black eyeliner, depending on how dark your skin is. Then add gray eyeshadow and mascara. Line the inside rim of your bottom eyelid with eyeliner too.
Modern:
Use purple eyeshadow, like a deep plum, or maybe even dark blue. Just make sure not to put on too much-you don't want to cross the line from sophisticated to trashy!Whats the best technique and make up for the smokey eyed look?
The key to the perfect smoky eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.
What You Need:
Eye primer (you don't need it, but it's great for keeping shadow in place)
2 Shadows: One light, one darker
Eyeliner
Makeup brushes
Mascara
Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called ';primer';). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.
Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.
Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to ';smudge it.'; You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.
Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist ';mousse'; consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.
Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.
Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.
Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara. Tried and true mascaras (featured in ';Elle'; magazine's March 2006 issue) include DiorShow Mascara %26amp; L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara. Elle's writer says they are the best volumizers she's tried.Whats the best technique and make up for the smokey eyed look?
Look up xteeener (3 e's) on youtube. She uses drugstore brands and she achieves alot of good looks and she teaches you the smokey eye technique. Plus youtube provides visuals that the messageboard cant (but someone will probably provide a link eventually haha...)
But basically, darker shade on out half of the eye, lighter shade on the inner corner of the eye, both to the crease, then a highlighting lighter color on the brow bone.. but then there's so many ways and it depends on the person because everyone has different eyes. Some people like using eyeliner and using a smudge brushes to smudge it, some people like to use similar shades (2 or 3) or mix in random colors (black and a dark red or something, etc), really depends.
*** BLENDING is the key... blend all the harsh borders
You should always apply a base to the lid first to help hold on the color. Then you should apply a light shade under the brow and in the inside corner of the eye. Next apply a medium shade to the lower lid. Next apply the dark shade to the outside corner starting from the lash and going up to the lash line. The key is to use a tight bristled brush to apply and then take a angled or blending brush and blend the color in towards the middle of your lid. Add some liner around the eye and topping it with the dark shadow to set it. Add a bunch of mascara and your done. Also make sure you use a good concealer and clean up any fallen shadow under your eye. The worst thing is to look like you haven't slept for days when doing this look.

Make up technique to make eyes look bigger?
got any ideas?Make up technique to make eyes look bigger?
definately get yourself some eyelash curlers! they lift up your lashes so that not only do you lashes look fuller %26amp; longer, but your eyes look bigger. it really opens 'em up!Make up technique to make eyes look bigger?
A couple tricks %26amp; products to make your eyes appear larger:
-EYEPRIMER: Use an eye primer (Benefit, MAC %26amp; Urban Decay make good ones). This will give you a smooth, unpuckered canvas to work with.
-LIGHT SHADOWS: Use a shimmery vanilla or buttercream shade eyeshadow all over your lid.. this will reflect light and give the appearance of larger eyes. Stay away from dark smokey colours as darkness makes anything look smaller.
-LINE LIKE A PRO:When using an eyeliner, be sure not to line all the way around the eye. This will make you look squinty. Take a black or dark brown liner, and draw a slightly thicker line on your top lid, and only halfway on the bottom. This makes your lashes seem more lush.
-WHITE PENCIL: a white eye pencil, and line the inner rim of your bottom lashes (and your top if you're feeling adventurous). This technique will make the whites of your eyes pop.
-VOLUMISE YOUR LASHES: Use a lush, lash-fattening mascara on top lashes. Two or three coats to build volume, but only use sparingly on the bottom. Again, you dont want to make your eyes look tinier.
- CONCEAL: Get a great concealer. If your skin looks flawless, especially under the eye area it will draw the attention to your eyes. If you have any bags or puffiness, be sure to use a depuffing eye cream daily to get max exposure of your peepers!
Try some (or all) of these tips, and you'll have Bette Davis eyes in no time!
xx
use a three toned eye shadow, start by using the middle color over the whole lid, use the darker shade lightly on the outer corners, open the eye up with the lightest color along the edge of the lid next to your lashes and on the inside corner of your eye (that nearest your nose) unless you have black hair, in which case use black, use a brown or a brown black liner. Line the top lid from corner to corner, apply liner to only the first 2/3rds of the bottom lid, leaving the corner near your nose liner free. Use a cotton swab to blend the eyeliner into a natural deliniation of color.
Use a triple action mascara, again brown or brown-black (unless you have black hair, then use black). Use an eyelash curler to open your eyes up further and make your lashes appear longer.
EDIT: When applying eyeliner to the lower lid, make sure you go beneath the lash line. Do NOT line the rim of your eye, it makes your eyes look smaller and it is really bad for your eyeballs.
use a light cream or pink shimmering color on the inner corners of you eyes and on the brow bone. also apply some on the outer corner of your eyes and just above the cheek bones. bring attention to your eyes by lining them with a dark brown eyeliner as close to the lashline as possible on top and bottom lashlines then curl your lashes and apply two or three coats of black mascara lashblast from covergirl works well. and also apply a subtle pink color to just above the apples of the cheeks and over toward the temple but not too far. then apply a rosy colored lipgloss to your lips and then a shimmery gloss to your top lip and just the center of you bottom lip, this will also make you lips look fuller. good luck i hope this helps :)
Eyeliner UNDER the bottom lashes, not on the ridge, only half way across from the outside inwards. Eyelash curlers, and mascara. Darker eyeshadow on the outside corners, light eyeshadow on the inside corner.
youd wana line the upper and lower eyelids with an eyeliner pencil, the thinner the line the better, also a good mascara always works especially one that comes with a primer, apply two coats for a maximum effect.
i've been trying to figure this out for myself, but all i know so far is to keep the eyeliner to an absolute minimum, if at all and to line the inner corners in white...but i don't know anything else...
white eyeliner on your bottom lash smudge til you can barly see it..and wear like yellow eyeshaodw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4GVBkicn鈥?/a>
put cucumber slices over your eyes to awaken them, and apply white eyeshadow or a very pale yellow to the corners and insides of your eyes.
instead of applying eyeliner on the inner most part of your under eye, apply it directly underneath your lash line.
Wearing light eyeshadow helps
rub preparation h on your eye lids before bed.... it works. I M SERIOUS!

Make-up colors and techniques?
I'm trying to find some new ideas for my make-up. Like when I'm going out on a date with my husband or just hanging out. I have regular colors that I wear everyday. I have brown hair with platnium and reddish highlights, I have brown eyes and a semi-tan. Does anyone have any suggestions on make-up other than the same gold, champagne, and off-white for the eyes, peach lipgloss and no blush?Make-up colors and techniques?

hi, ive been a make-up artist and skin care specialist practically my whole life, start with good skin and my best advice i can give you is to go get a make-over there free you can call any cosmetic line at your local dept store, i also use to work at a merle normam, they do a great job at both places and just can maybe ';tweak'; your look a little, you would be suprised what a couple of knew hints can do, so that's what i would do, good luck elizabeth
i think you you should try Light blue eye shadow. Light pink lipstick and a little bit of blush.
well neutral colors are ALWAYS the best. I find that if you're white light browns or tans always is practical, classy, and very comfortable. When your tan peaches and some light pinks %26amp; reds work great and if your dark golds and are very gorgeious. My favorite make-up store is Sephora and right now there issue that came out was all about summer fever and looks, they say that the best thing you can do for your skin, eyes, lips is BARE MINERALS they have it at sephoria check it out. =]]
I also have brown hair, and I like to use some black 'smoldering' eye liner with mostly dark brown shadow and a splash of silver or metallic blue. Don't use too much shiny silver/blue, or it will overpower your face, just a bit. Also, try some red lipstick/gloss, instead of peach.

ok so go on physicians formula.com they have a lot of make up that is good for your skin. It is really cool because they eyeshadows and a line of eye make up to go with your certian eye color. I have this one eyeshadow palet that you can make natural, playful or dramatic eyes. Physicians formula also has direction on their website to put on eyeshadow. the three eyeshadow technique is usually really good. You put a medium tone all over your eye and dark tone on the crease or your eye and a light tone to highlight your brow region. They show pictures on line.

The image you gave doesn't work so I dont know what eye or hair colour you have to recomend the right shades for you but if you want to be creative with the colours I recommend checking out the videos. I cant see well with my left eye, it is really hard for me to put eye make up on my right eye and its driving me nutss !!
does anyone have any good techniques that might help?Make up help techniques !!!?
This may or may not help, SORRY! But my best idea is to just keep both eyes open even when putting eyeliner on. instead of completely closing your eyes, look down but slightly tilt your head back in a way that you are still able to look at the mirror. Also, use one hand to pull your skin a little so that your skin doesn't keep moving around when you try to apply makeup on your eyes. I hope this made sense because this is what I do when I apply makeup!hair gallery

What are your best techniques to make sure you wake up early?
When the alarm clock doesn't do the job by itself, what else can you do to make sure you get up on time of a morning?
Creative, even zany, answers are welcomed. Nothing dangerous though, like have emergency services called to your street, sirens blaringWhat are your best techniques to make sure you wake up early?
3 glasses of water before bed ;
put your alarm clock out of reach
put it in a metal bin and aim it at your bed like a cannon
get someone else in the house let the dog in to your roomWhat are your best techniques to make sure you wake up early?
Set alarm clock, and even have a friend/neighbor call you on the phone-hey, they do it in hotels!
tell ur self several times before u sleep the time u want up
Drink lots of water before going to bed, that should get you up really early, nature's alarm clock.
(Please wake up, begs the one next to you)
Funny Granny B, Good one.
I don't need an alarm. My 8month old daughter wakes up at 6 every morning, without fail.
Phone by the bed ( husband is a nightworker) plus a good old - fashioned elbow in the ribs on a day off doesn't hurt!
If you have kids.....tell them tomorrow morning is Easter, Christmas..... etc: That'll do the trick!!
about the yarn do you want to get rid of some of that yarn help me help kids have a blanket this winter
i set my alarm clock and myphone

I need to change my eye make up technique!?
I always seem to were the same old make up, black mascara, blue eye liner, and sometimes eye shadow. Iv tried putting it on in different ways but I think I look stupid when I change it and end up taking it all off and going back to the usual.
Does any one no any good make up technique books that show step by step guides???I need to change my eye make up technique!?
try this
black eye liner... black kajal (if u have large eyes) white kajal if u have small eyes
and at the corner of ur eye lid(closer to the hairline) apply a darker shade of eye shadow... ease it out to the middle andblend with a lighter shade
out some shimmery siver or gold tones near the brow...
go ahead with maskara or clear maskara

These links have some pretty good tips;

Personally I use a light eyeshadow (cream/white) which I dust over the lid and right up to my eyebrows, then I use a darker colour (brown/purple) on the outer half of my eyelid, and blend it in to the base colour. Experiment blending 2-3 different shades, from light to dark. Then use jet black eyeliner on the top near to your lashes and line your lower lashes. Use eyelash curlers to excentuate your eyes and apply 2 coats of jet black lengthening mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Make sure your eyebrows look neat too, use an eyebrow brush and subtly define them with an eyebrow pencil if need be.
Go to this http://www.barrym.co.uk/ website and there is great make up at really great prices, you will love the makeup and there are also makeup tutorials on there from Lauren who is just great at showing how to do all sorts of different things with eye makeup! i didnt hear of barry m that long ago but i have made 2 pretty huge orders with them as i just love the range and the colours and the dazzle dust pots are great!

What is the best make-up or technique you have used to cover under eye circles?
The yellow thing doesn't work for me.What is the best make-up or technique you have used to cover under eye circles?
Alexis Vogel concealor, which can be purchased from makeupconnection.com.
Using a makeup sponge or concealor brush, apply it right in the corner of the eyes and down. Don't go too far out or it won't work properly. To blend in with skin even more, tap with ring finger.
I have used this on my roommate who always has had dark circles, she looked in the mirror and was shocked, she said she looked like a completely different person. What is the best make-up or technique you have used to cover under eye circles?
I.D bare minerals :]
its kinda expensize but it works really well.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer works really well for that. I've got pretty dark circles around my eyes and this takes care of them. It also helps eye-makeup go on better.
If money is an issue, just use foundation... apply small dots under your eyes, let it dry a little, then pat it with your fingers or a sponge and blend it... reapply as much as needed to cover dark circles... otherwise... use a concealer... Do the same as I said before, and make sure with either, to set it with powder...
cucombers on the eyes really works!
20min 4 each eye.
make sure u press it hard so the juice goes into the skin.
%26amp; cover the rest with concealer from sephora makeup store (its sephora brand %26amp; its in a black tube, they'll help u).

I would suggest buying concealer. If that's too pricy I always use a foundation or liquid base that is a shade lighter than normal and wipe a little under my eyes. This gets rid of the circles and give the appearance of a slight lift.

(10 points) What are some persuasion techniques used in a make-up commercial?
explain you answer pleaseeee(10 points) What are some persuasion techniques used in a make-up commercial?
One marketing technique is to use celebrity endorsements (e.g. Drew Barrymore), and there are several reasons why. First, the faces of celebrities are easily recognizable, and if people admire and trust that celebrity, then they will be likely to admire and trust the company/commercial/product advertised. Second, celebrities have fame and fortune, so it could be implied that if you buy XYZ, then you just might have a chance at acquiring similar status.
Another marketing technique is, of course, sex. ';A must-have for kissable lips,'; ';Be the woman he wants,'; ';Soft skin for him to caress.'; As the saying goes, sex sells, and it has proven true for a multitude of corporations.
These are just a couple techniques used in cosmetics commercials.(10 points) What are some persuasion techniques used in a make-up commercial?

What make-up technique was used to preserve Jack Nicholson's grin as the Joker on the original Batman movie? ?
For Jack Nicholson's Joker grin, were prosthetics used? Was his face freeze dried as original rumor has it? What make-up technique was used to preserve Jack Nicholson's grin as the Joker on the original Batman movie? ?
I've never heard that ridiculous rumor.
I'm assuming it was a type of foam glued to his face, then they painted make-up over it. What make-up technique was used to preserve Jack Nicholson's grin as the Joker on the original Batman movie? ?
yeah, i don't think freeze drying is even possible...
it would cause damage to the skin, not to mention hurt like hell...
it would definately be prosthetics and make up.

What's the best make-up technique to conceal lines that run from mid-nose to the corners of your mouth?
maybe try rubbing some base in?What's the best make-up technique to conceal lines that run from mid-nose to the corners of your mouth?
Use a collagen filler. L'Oreal has a good one, its called ';Wrinkle De-Crease'; Collagen Filler. It's about 20.00 USD. And worth it. Its not a ';make up'; trick..it will help alleviate the signs of the ';nasiolabial'; fold lines fir real. What's the best make-up technique to conceal lines that run from mid-nose to the corners of your mouth?
Usually it's just adding a lighter concealer to the lines to create a fuller, therefore less prominent line.

just leave it alone or put something that is lighter than your actual skin tone.....just don't cake on foundation b/c it sinks into wrinkles
All I can say is:
http://www.bareescentuals.com/
The best really I have been a faithful user for over 2 years and I love it.
Use consealer stick a shade or two lighter than your skin and cover with usual foundation or powder. Creases tend to make shadowes. Using white, green or lighter color make it less noticable.
Some age lines and wrinkles can be due to dry skin. So first off moisturize, or use a moisturizing foundation. Apply the foundation sparingly around these areas, try not to cake it on or you will notice the lines more, use a thin even layer. Apply it in an outward, circular motion. Good Luck!
I use Clinque and sometimes bare minerals .
Spray on cover-up!! It works wounders!!!!

What is the BEST make-up technique out there?
Or the one u have tried. I am just going to start putting on a little bit of makeup. I hate a baked cake on my face, some light makeup will do. Any tricks.
P.S. i really need help in choosing foundations
and eye makeup
Im 18, yea i know!!What is the BEST make-up technique out there?
Since you are 18 and want a light makeup you should buy some Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers foundation. It feels great on the skin and gives a healthy looking glow. If you have any bumps or darkness you want covered use maybelline or lancome photogenic concealer. Revlon now has a great gel blush, I believe it's called ';Just Pinched'; that goes on sheer and gives a naturally blushing look.
1. Use a concealer brush to brush on concealer over flaws.
2. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply the foundation after the concealer is dry. Apply the foundation over your eyelids too.
3. Get a pearlescent white eyeshadow pencil and put a dot at the inner corner of each eye and blend it in with your finger tips to make your eyes look more refreshed. You can also apply the white shadow in a line extending 1/3 the lenth of your eyebrows from the outside inward directly underneath and along the brows. Blend that in and it will give a nice effect of light hitting your face.
4. Pump just a little dot of the gel blush on your finger tip. Smile so you can easily find the apples of your cheeks and lightly dot a line of the gel blush across each cheek with the small amount of blush on your finger tip. Then blend the blush in with your fingers or a cosmetic sponge. You really only need a very small amount for both cheeks.
5. Use a waterproof mascara, a good one is CoverGirl Lash Exact, on the top lashes. Use a lash curler after the mascara is dried to make the eyes look more open.
6. Use a face powder brush to dust on just a little bit of transluscent loose powder over the face to help keep your makeup on longer.
7. Use a lip balm on your lips.
This should give you a young, natural, fresh look. What is the BEST make-up technique out there?
For inexpensive, try Wet 'N Wild. The best way to get close to your natural skin tone is to pick up the vials, hold it against your skin, and see for yourself!
Wet 'N Wild Ultimate Cover makeup, smells like bananas, and has eucalyptus oil and cuke extracts so it tightens up the skin a wee bit. It feels fresh and airy, enriched with botanicals also, whatever that really means..:) They are four to five dollars a pop.
For even lighter, I suggest a Neutrogena mineral sheers makeup. I must try that myself someday..:)
What is your eye color? Earth colors for green/blue, medium to dark berry shades for brown. Good luck!
The best thing you can do is go to a makeup counter and have them help you.
What works for some does not work for all people. We all have different skin, different environments and features.
This way you have a one on one professional consultation, instead of opinions.
If you are willing to spend a little bit of money, use the Alexis Vogel technique. She is famous for doing celebrity makeup, she got her own video and make up line. The video and the make up is EXCELLENT. Other than that, the best foundations are of course MAC, bobbi brown, and laura mercier. Estee Lauder is pretty nice too....The best eye make comes from MAC, christian dior, laura mercier. They have alot of variety, and you can mix all of the eye color up to your eye and it can come out beautifully. They trick to eye make up is not putting on too much; but putting on a little bit and mixing it right. It's really fun. Of course you are going to need to use eyeliner and mascara to really pop them eyes out. if you want the natural look, go for brown or even WHITE eyeliner....instead of black. the BEST mascara in the WORLD is by kevyn aucoin. Mac also have some good mascaras.
i use dream matte mousse for my foundation and it's really lightweight. i use those sponge triangles to apply it.
i use revlon's golden affair for blush and if you're gonna buy some blush, dont use the brush that goes with it. they're usually really crappy.
i use define-a-lash for mascara. and zig-zag the wand when applying to make sure you cover every lash.
and for eyeshadow, i usually wear rimmel or l'oreal.
use mineral foundation...like bare escentuals bare minerals, you can easily find it at sephora and the salespeople can help you find the right shade. it is really light, so it looks natural, but has good coverage. it's easy to use too! just stick the brush in and brush all over your face. you can find tutorials on youtube like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPoLKpS-s鈥?/a>
i know it's a bit pricey..i heard there's some similar loose powder foundations you can find at drugstores..like loreal? as for eye makeup, trust in mac eyeshadows.
If you don't have acne scars or uneaven skintone then you can skip foundation. They clog your pores anyway. Try a lightweight pressed powder instead. For eye-makeup, dark brown eyeshadow will flatter anyone. Put some mascara if your lashes are short of blonde colored. Finish off with a hint of lipgloss (pinkish hue if you have fair skin, peach color if you have dark skin).
If you have good skin use minimal foundation, I really like glo minerals. It is a pharmacudical grade version of bare minerals. Light on the eyes with liner on top very small line on lower eye lid. Then lots of mascara or false lashes. Use a shimmery white color on your brow bones.
P.S. i really need help in choosing foundations
and eye makeup

Make-up techniques to define bone structure?
I'm looking for some make-up techinques that will make my bone structure stand out in a more defined way. The thing is, with my face, I have a pretty nice jawline but my mouth is small which tends to sort of mask what nice bone structure i would have. Make up tips to enhance the look of more prominant cheek bones and a slimmer face would be greatly helpful!
here is a picture of me if that would help
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n138/…Make-up techniques to define bone structure?
you definately need to do one of these two things:
-bronzer or
-have 2 different color foundations and contour.
I notice when id use one color foundation, my face would be more flat dimensioned and i wouldnt look like myself anymore. you have to remember that the natural face has dimensions, the areas that stick out may be lighter and those further away may be a bit darker?
which is why you can use bronzer or-
you can lay down the lighter colored foundation,
then pat the darker one around in certain areas..
experiment.. for me i like to apply the darker one on my cheekbones and up and around towards my eyelids, then maybe on the sides of my forehead and jawline.. for some reason this is what looks best on Me, you will know when you play around what brings out your best features and bone structure.. in fact- kim kardashian uses 2 different colored foundations from what ive heard, she does contouring as well.Make-up techniques to define bone structure?
aww hun your absolutely gorgeous :)
yoyu can put blush on your cheekbone by either smiling with your teeth showing and applying it up where the bone is tehre to define it more, OR
make a fishy face and suck in %26amp; the bone can be defined and shown there and put blush tehre..
this helps. i do it all the time.
hope i helped :)
You could us a bronzer, but I like using white eyeshadow better.
If you just get like a blush brush, put a little white shadow on it and brush it across your cheek bones, jaw line, and a little ABOVE your eyebrows!
omgshh
um bronser
under the cheek bone
under the chin like wear
the bone kinda sticks out
and on the the hair
line on the side of your head
like above your ears(:
I think we have the same problem! I have high cheek bones but my face is skinny.
Out blush on the upper cheek. And no more make-up.
you dont need anymore makeup.
Don't put on any more makeup.
You are gorgeous!!!
Stay the way you are.. no more or less make up... I wish you was my gf... lol
